Financial Needs of the Foundation

YSIS needs your monetary supports in helping us to/ for:

Implement and sustain Community Based Rehabilitation Programmes and Centres.

Empower CBR caregivers with skills and knowledge.
Implement and maintain CBR Social Clubs.
Engagement of professionals as therapist and trainers.
Establish transitory and half-way houses for the newly disabled.
Establish Orthopedic Workshops.
Develop Bercham Centre as a regional reference centre for CBR services.
Organise seminars and conferences for proper dissemination of knowledge and skills.
Establish a comprehensive resource centre at Bercham.
Introduction of active and participatory therapy for children such as hydrotherapy.

YSIS Needs You as Volunteer!

In ensuring continuous services rendered to the community, YSIS needs you as a volunteer to help in various functions and field within the foundation.

Volunteers will assist in many ways, which they are able to help:
Working alongside one particular client at home.
Being a committee member for one of our regional centers.
Fund raising and financial support.
Assisting in special events, displays and projects.
Teaching a child with disability to read and write.
Being involved with people with disabilities in social activities.
Offering special skills, such as doctors, nurses, teachers, lawyers.
Designing and making special equipment.
Sewing, typing and computer skills training.
Providing transport for people and children with disabilities.
