YSIS Branches in Perak and Kelantan

Yayasan Sultan Idris Shah (YSIS) though established in 1982, moved into the state of the art facility only in December 1992 and has rendered various rehabilitation services. With greater demand for rehabilitation services and the increasing number of clients, YSIS started initiating a network of community based rehabilitation centers throughout to look into the welfare of these special people with disabilities.

It has successfully established 11 other centers with similar rehabilitation programmes in Perak and 1 in the state of Kelantan:

Our full time multidisciplinary team visit the centers on a weekly basis to provide assessment, advice and assistance. This includes referrals, exercise programmes, home visits, counseling and training in home based job skills and social activities in sports and recreation.
